Mogadishu,(insidesomalia.org)- Opposition groups ruled out that Ethiopian government mediate between Somali government and the opposition.

Sheikh Abdirahim Ali Mudey, former Information Secretary of the ousted Union of Islamic Courts said that Ethiopian government is not neutral to the Somali crisis.

"They invaded us, killing our people  ... Therefore it is clear that Ethiopians are part of the conflict" said Sheikh Abdirahim who is also member of AlShabaab Islamic group.

"We can not accept that IGADD countries except Ethiopia and Keya can mediate talks between Somali government and the opposition" He said

Early on Thursday, Somali Government spokesman Abdi Haji Goob said Ethiopian government will mediate negotiations between Somali government and opposition.

Abdi Haji Goobdoon,  speaking at a press conference in Mogadishu said that Ethiopian Foreign Minister Seuim Mesffin  during his visit in Baidoa , the official site of the Parliament had talks with Somali President Abdullahi Yusuf and Somali Prime Minister focused on an offer from the Ethiopian government to start mediate negotiations between Somali government and opposition groups.

The spokesman did not comment on how and when Ethiopian government will start its mediation efforts.

Ethiopian did not clearly show its willingness to media the Somali crisis in contrast with the opposition's preconditions of the withdrawal of Ethiopian troops from Somalia first, to negotiate with the government.

Leader of the main opposition group, Sheikh Sharif Sheikh Ahmed ruled out talks with the Somali government unless Ethiopian troops withdrawn from Somalia.
